some jewelry that I kept

Here are 2 sets that I kept for myself, one with sterling silver and one with gold-filled chain and beads. One is pretty old and the other one is new from today. Turquoise colors are always my favorites! These both use organic gemstone beads of apatite.

The first one has a flat flounder pendant hanging from a wavy ring, and the necklace is asymmetrical and convertible! The round puzzle clasps connect on one side, and the necklace can be worn short, or add the sterling chain for a long, noticeably asymmetrical pendant with integrated chain. The earrings also have the same sterling chain, and are very splashy but still lightweight.

This second necklace with matching earrings (I like to wear earrings that look like they were meant to go with my necklace!) is also a teal color palette, but with gold animal-print highlights on some of the glass beads. These gemstone chips are also apatite. I love the way the wavy gold-filled links make this necklace look like it's almost floating when you wear it.

I was wearing the jewelry in the first picture while making the set in the second picture. I love the way those earrings hang, so I made these earrings similar! I've used teal niobium ear wires, because the color works with these beads, and it's easy on my metal-sensitive earlobes.

I posed both pictures with the necklace in a big circle, but both are very flexible. I am careful about how beads are used in necklaces, so that my necklaces hang in a nice shape, never stiff. I also always use high quality flexible multistrand beading wire, that's stainless steel inside with a plastic coating to protect the beads and gems.

some recent jewelry

These two pictures are some sets already being worn by some of my favorite people! They are here as examples of some of the styles of jewelry that I make, although I don't make any duplicates, ever. It's more fun designing each one to be unique in the universe!

This first one is not a great photo, but it's such a cute necklace with that unique rainbow focal bead! The wavy sterling silver beads and the flowery-splashy multicolor handmade glass beads make a fun set! The teal ear wires are niobium, which is great for people like me with metal allergies, and the color is throughout the metal, so it stays that color. And the circle clasp is my favorite kind of clasp, it's 2 circles that slide together by lining up the slits.

And this set is another favorite! These cube-shaped handmade glass beads look great with the peridot chips and amethyst. The handmade glass pendant, hanging from a small gold circle, is very pretty when worn with a V neckline. The gold-plated beads and chain just add a little extra glow to the person wearing this set!

some history

On the right is a necklace I made for myself. It is very long, and though it doesn't show in this photo, it's asymmetrical when worn as a single long pendant. The large beads are lampwork glass, the smaller cubes are turquoise.
In the center is another set that I'm keeping for myself. I will be selling a couple other necklaces with focal lip beads, on ebay in a few weeks.
